You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within our ServiceNow environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining CI Items, establishing relationships between them, and developing a comprehensive blueprint for service mapping.Key Responsibilities: CMDB Configuration: Configure the CMDB schema and CI Items in ServiceNow to align with our IT infrastructure and business processes. Define CI Items and their corresponding attributes to accurately represent the components of our IT environment. Establish relationships between CI Items to create a comprehensive view of our IT infrastructure. Service Mapping: Develop a blueprint for service mapping to connect applications and services within our IT landscape. Add applications to ServiceNow and map them to relevant CI Items. Ensure that service relationships are accurately defined and maintained. Data Quality: Maintain the integrity and accuracy of CMDB data through regular audits and updates. Implement data quality processes and standards to ensure data consistency. Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB-related issues and discrepancies. Provide technical support and guidance to users of the CMDB.Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong experience in configuring CMDB for ServiceNow. In-depth knowledge of CMDB schema and CI Items. Ability to define CI Items and their attributes. Experience in developing service mapping blueprints. Proficiency in ServiceNow administration and configuration. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
