Job Description: Software Development Engineer Test (SDET) #8782 Atlanta GA & Minneapolis (O nsite) Need local Candidate may client ask for F2F Qualifications: Automation Analysis and Development: Analyze requirements and determine technical feasibility for automation. Develop and maintain scalable, reusable automated test scripts across applications. Testing and Quality Assurance Participate in regression testing to ensure that new enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality. Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution and retesting. Test Strategy and Process Improvement Improve QA delivery and quality by defining test strategies and implementing process improvements. 5 to 7 years in Information Technology with expertise in test automation for UI and API layers. Proficient in Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, and various open-source testing libraries (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured). Hands-on experience with OOP languages (Java, C#) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, Bash). API and Microservices Testing Experience in testing and automating APIs and microservices. Development Methodologies Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks like Cucumber, JBehave. Experienced with querying languages such as SQL (preferred), Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB). Cloud and Deployment Experience in deploying applications on AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes). Automation Framework s Experience in building test automation frameworks from scratch using modular design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM). Agile Methodologies Experience working in distributed agile teams using frameworks like SCRUM, SAFe, XP. CI/CD and Version Control Proficient with CI tools (Jenkins, CircleCI) and source code management tools (GitLab, GitHub, AWS Code Commit). Reporting Experience creating test reports using tools like Cucumber Report, Extent Report. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey ideas effectively and prepare comprehensive documentation. Quickly adapt to new tools and evolving technologies. Proactive with a focus on customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the travel industry. Experience with Docker, Chef, Puppet, Terraform. Knowledge of various AWS services such as EC2, S3, AWS Code Pipeline, CloudFormation. Experience with tools like WireMock, Mockito for virtualizing services. Experience with test management and agile tools like VersionOne, qTest. Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS CloudFormation. Experience in performance, load, stress, security, accessibility, and usability testing. Responsibilities: Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain UI test automation scripts using Cypress-Mocha/BDD, JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright.
