You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data collection, storage, and dissemination align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Security Best Practices: Establish and apply security and privacy guidelines across all projects that handle consumer data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects from Data Visualization, Data Analytics, Data Storage, and Global Privacy Teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into data platforms. Authentication and Authorization: Develop and deploy industry-leading practices for managing user access to consumer data, including authentication and authorization mechanisms. Data Protection Mechanisms: Architect and engineer robust data protection solutions for both data at rest and data in transit, safeguarding sensitive information. Interface Security: Implement security best practices for integrations between data origin, data lake, data consumers, and supporting middleware. Risk Management: Collaborate with the Global Security Team to audit user permissions, monitor for risks, and implement mitigation strategies. DLP Expertise: Leverage 3+ years of DLP operational experience to implement DLP solutions, understand expressions, analysis, policy drivers, and rules. Security Standards: Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint security solutions. Security Risk Assessment: Review project architecture and diagrams to identify security risks and gaps in solution architectures. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge of Symantec CCS, DCS, Symantec Endpoint Security Suite, PGP, Mobility Suite, and cloud security. Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships and effectively influence others to drive security initiatives.
