SALESFORCE DATA MIGRATION SPECIALIST - REMOTE The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (NYC TLC) is seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Migration Specialist for a 12-month contract role. This position involves planning, executing, and managing data migration projects within Salesforce environments, focusing on data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Informatica tools. The role offers remote work flexibility; however, candidates must be located within a commutable distance from New York City for occasional office visits. Please see key qualifications: The key qualifications are data migration from Salesforce using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud which is also known as Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). Note the preferred certifications in the job description. Knowledge of MuleSoft is also preferred which is the tool they use to load the data from Salesforce into other systems. So Salesforce => Informatica => MuleSoft => Receiving Systems. The only thing we will need from the candidate for this role is a qualification summary written by them on where their experience matches the qualifications. What Youll Bring At least 3 years of experience in database migration, with a focus on Salesforce applications and handling sensitive data. Proficiency in using Informatica (PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud) for data migration. Experience with Salesforce data import/export tools, SQL, ETL processes, and data integration. Strong Salesforce customization skills, including Apex development, Salesforce Flow, and Lightning components. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bonus Points For Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform Developer certifications. Informatica certifications (e.g., Informatica Cloud Data Integration).
