| Senior Informatica Developer - 100% remote Duration - 3 years TX local only (State client) very senior resource with genuine 10+ years experience advanced (senior level) Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) or IICS specific developer/programmer analyst work including: data modeling, implementing, designing and managing database pipelines and ETL Data Interfaces. Designing , developing, maintaining Datawarehouse in Snowflake and data structures to facilitate efficient data processing, storage and retrieval. Experience with other cloud Datawarehouse like Oracle, Apache Hive, Azure etc. Development of ETL mappings and Taskflows in IDMC for data movement with different type of sources and targets. Sources include IMS database, VSAM, Oracle, SQL servers. Refactoring of database ETL scripts from mainframe IMS databases to Oracle RDBMS. Able to create data maps (application extraction and registration groups) in Power Exchange (PWX) Navigator or similar Real Time CDC products. Develop Data Quality / Data Governance modules using Informatica DQ / Data Governance or similar products. Develop data pipelines in Snowflake using PL/SQL procedures with different type of source / targets like Oracle, Salesforce, SQL Server. Determines database requirements by analyzing business operations, applications, and programming; reviewing business objectives; and evaluating current systems. Obtains data model requirements, develops, and implements data models for new projects, and maintains existing data models and data architectures. Performs root cause analyses (RDA) related to information issues and non-conformance to published data standards based on review of technical metadata of various source systems. Creates graphics and other flow diagrams (including ERD) to show complex database design and database modeling more simply. Performs related work as assigned. Creation of technical documentation for process and interface documentation is a key element of this role, as the Team is working on release two of a multiple release effort. Ability to review the work of others, troubleshoot, and provide feedback and guidance to meet tight deliverable deadlines is required. Ability to promote the code from development environments to test and production environments using DevOps CI/CD pipelines.. Years Required/ Preferred Experience 3+ Required Hands on experience on Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) also called IICS 8+ Required Development with Informatica on-premises software. Experience must be with Power Exchange Navigator data mappings and with PowerCenter workflow development. A combination of experience in Informatica Power Exchange and PowerCenter that has a minimum of 3 years in one and a total of over 8 years combined. 5+ Required Design / Development / Management of Snowflake Datawarehouse. 5+ Required Ability to manage and promote codes using Devops / Github 3+ Required Data Quality / Data Governance products 8+ Required Reviewing data storage and data flow to develop data models to ensure data integrity. 8+ Required Generating advanced SQL queries and using other data interrogation methods. 8+ Required Reviewing and interpreting business requirements and design specifications and translating them into Informatica mappings and workflows. 8+ Required Writing, revising, and verifying Informatica processes and procedures (including interface control documents, process workflows in Visio, and operational processes for Informatica). 8+ Required Ability to troubleshoot and review code for staff knowledge transfer or training. 8+ Required Skill with data movements/Extracts (ETL) from Mainframe applications (prefer IMS COBOL). 7+ Required Experience in relational database design concepts including direct experience in Oracle RDBMS. 5+ Required Experience in hierarchical database and relational database design concepts including direct experience in IMS Databases, VSAM structures. 3+ Required Experience with static maps and Change Data Capture (CDC) for bulk data movement. 5+ Required Experience of knowledge of Reporting systems like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau / QlikView.
