This includes planning and coordinating release features, enhancements, and deployments while ensuring environments are well-managed and available. You will work closely with Agile Squads, Program Teams, QA, Production Support, and Business Stakeholders to develop Release Plans and manage deployment activities. The Release Manager will also enforce Release Management Standards and drive the strategy for the Release/Environment team. This role is crucial for supporting large-scale transformations, ensuring the smooth operation of test environments, and adhering to the banks risk management policies. Responsibilities: Drive and coordinate the deployment of code and hardware changes. Ensure consistent availability and management of environments to support the roadmap. Create detailed Release Plans from QA to post-production. Cultivate strong working relationships across IT teams. Monitor environments and guarantee uptime. Identify, assess, manage, and report risks within the bank's risk appetite. Collaborate with Agile, Waterfall teams, and various stakeholders to plan future environment needs. Required Skills: Experience in test environment management and configuration control. Strong understanding of QA, Production Support, and Development processes. Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments. Proficiency with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub). Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly AWS. Knowledge of tools like ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Plutora. Expertise in Change Management and Incident Management processes. Attention to detail and the ability to manage large-scale transformation projects.
