Experience Needed : Above 13+ Years Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Lead meetings with the client s technical teams to understand their current security landscape and integrate existing security practices into the ADF setup. Cloud Resources Creation: Design and create all necessary cloud resources to establish secure development, test, and production environments. Security Best Practices: Provide expert advice on security best practices for data access across various cloud platforms, ensuring secure reading and handling of data from multiple sources. Integration Runtime Configuration: Install, configure, and test a Self-hosted Integration Runtime for connecting to on-premises data sources. Deployment Pattern Establishment: Develop and implement a templated, repeatable deployment pattern using Azure DevOps for moving ADF pipeline and data flow changes from development to test to production environments, incorporating necessary approval processes and code review gates as defined by the client. Data Connections Assistance: Assist the client in establishing initial data connections to on-premises sources such as SAP ECC and SAP BW, as well as various SaaS data sources. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience with Azure Data Factory development and cloud architecture. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and best practices for secure data integration. Proven ability to lead technical requirements gathering and implement solutions based on client needs. Experience setting up Azure DevOps CI/CD processes and establishing repeatable deployment patterns. Hands-on experience with connecting to both on-premises and SaaS data sources. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 5+ years in a consultative role 10+ years demonstrative experience with data engineering and platform engineering with Azure Preferred Skills: Certifications in Azure Cloud and Data Engineering. Previous experience using ADF to connect to on prem SAP ECC or BW.
