If they are just developing, they will be more of a level 2 Min 2 years of experience with Playwright and cucumber Showing us deliverables with target milestones in playwright so they can move current applications to Playwright Description: Automation Engineer: What does a successful Software Test Engineer do As a Software Test Engineer at Fiserv, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs, collaborating with developers, analysts, and tech leads across the delivery team to identify test scenarios, and proposing appropriate technical solutions. You will ensure the smooth operation of all software used on our platform by conducting system testing, driving quality assurance of code and configuration, and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing standards and automation. What will you do: Play a central role in enhancing our automation capabilities for testing our core platform. Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to write test cases for new changes and work within an Agile/Scrum development process. Develop and agree on test plans with BAs and Software Development engineers, reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. Contribute to improving our test automation framework around growing suite of APIs and UIs on the platform. Contribute to our BDD framework, allowing testers to carry out tasks and generate test data via Jira input or Gherkin feature files. Log bugs, report issues to developers, and take full ownership and accountability for follow-up to ensure corrective action is taken. What you will need to have 7+ years of professional experience as a software test engineer or software developer in Test Automation script development and execution. 7+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, and JavaScript. 7+ years of experience with various types of testing including functional, performance, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, and maintainability. 5+ years of experience in Automating WEB and API Testing. 4+ years of experience in Modern Automation framework design and development using frameworks such as Playwright, Cucumber, Cypress, Mocha, Chai and Jest. Preferable to have experience in Playwright and Cucumber 5+ years of experience with Behavioral Driven Development & Test-Driven Development to generate test cases from User Story Acceptance Criteria and contribute to BDD automation framework. 5+ years of experience in preparing/minting test data, setting up test environments, and utilizing mobile applications, microservices, and distributed systems. 5+ years of experience in QA methodology and software development processes (Agile, Scrum). Strong experience in using software test tracking tools like JIRA/ADO and Test management tools like QTEST/XRay. Strong experience in using source code management tools like GITLAB/Bitbucket and CI/CD tools like Gitlab/Jenkins/Harness. Experience with testing REST/SOAP Services using API testing tools like Postman, SOAPUI. Good knowledge of databases and SQL, highly desired. Experience in preparing status reports. Excellent Communication Skills and client coordination. Quality-focused with strong attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, or work experience.
