Then, the candidate picks up Databricks, Python, PySpark and starts working in Azure environment. Seeking very senior level person with 15+ years or more experience but still hands-on to lead 2 people onshore and 3 off-shore. This candidate must be hands-on with SQL, Python, Apache Spark, PySpark and DataBricks. If candidate is no-longer technical and hands-on, we dont want the candidate Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Solutions Architect/Engineer with P&C (property and casualty insurance) Industry experience. This position will play a pivotal role in the growth dynamics of an implementation partner working for an International Property and Casualty Company that is ranked #25 in the world. Azure Data Solutions Architect will spearhead new Data Driven initiatives of turnkey IT Projects and Consulting services in P&C Insurance (especially in Commercial Insurance) domain using Azure Databricks and Data lake environment. We need a senior candidate who can communicate not only to technical staff but also to senior management/executives at an international Property and Casualty Insurance Company. So, must have top communication skills. Will lead small team of on-shore, off-shore development. Must Have Skills: Must be hands-on with Data Bricks, Python coding with Pyspark and fluent with Apache Spark SQL in the Azure environment. Data Lake knowledge with structured and unstructured data processing Skillset: 15 Years hands-on experience as a Data/ DWH Engineer in On-Prem and Cloud (Azure) environment Recent 3 + years' experience as Cloud Data Solution Architect recommending and designing Azure Cloud Solutions for P&C Insurance domain ( Commercial Insurance preferred) Recent 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure Databricks and Datalake; Performs Design, Development & Deployment using Azure Services (Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, SQL) Develops and maintains scalable data pipelines and build new Data Source integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity. Experience in creating Technical Specification Design, Application Interface Design.
