Role: Data Analytics Engineer Location: Atlanta,GA(3 days/week mandatory) Duration : Contract We're looking for an Analytics Engineer who is passionate about transforming vast data landscapes into compelling business insights. In our team, we work together to unravel and tackle unique business challenges using an impressive data scale that is rarely encountered. This role offers the chance to engage with a data warehouse of multi-petabyte scale, enhancing your expertise and delivering a significant contribution to the company's success. You'll be instrumental in maintaining data pipelines and collaborating across the company, all while using a diverse set of technologies. This role will be partnering closely with our stakeholders from various teams in Workday to do advanced analytics and define key metrics, build and maintain key analytic tools and provide data driven insights to our stakeholders. Ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, scheduling, and preparation for analytics. Apply an array of tools for data processing and analysis using Trino/Presto, Python, Apache AirFlow, AWS RDS, MySQL/PostgreSQL and more. Balance handling engineering efforts, analytical deep dives, and building analytic products Must be comfortable with ambiguity; able to take ownership, and thrive with minimal oversight and process Drive the direction and execution of your work, which span from developing scrappy analytic tools to designing scalable analytic systems About You You possess a keen interest in grasping the complex challenges that businesses face, and you are enthused by the prospect of devising data-driven solutions. Your inherent curiosity propels you to delve into data and decipher its core significance. Acquiring new tools and methods comes naturally to you. Becoming a part of our team is more than just accepting a job; it's embarking on a riveting adventure of discovering novel approaches to data exploration. 3+ years experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Software Development, or Data Science At least 1 year of experience with dbt, Google Looker or Data Modeling and Semantic Layer technologies like LookML, Cube, or MetricsFlow. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science. Master's degree or advanced certification in Data Science or Analytics is a plus. Skilled in a range of modern data stack (MDS) tools. Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of data pipeline and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques. Experience with development tools, such as Visual Studio Code, Git or related technologies Experience working on Linux Systems and command-line tools. At ease within the open-source environment.
