As a Cloud Data Platform Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions for data storage, processing, analysis, and machine learning. Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud data infrastructure using GCP components such as Cloud Storage, Subnets, Entitlements, Dataflow, DataProc Serverless, DataProc (Spark) API, DataPlex, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, BQ Studio, Cloud Functions, CloudRun, and Vertex AI. Develop and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis. Create and manage data lakes and data hubs using DataPlex. Utilize BigQuery for scalable data warehousing and analytics. Develop and deploy machine learning models using Vertex AI. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure data quality and integrity. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost-efficiency. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues. Qualifications: Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture. Experience with data engineering and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in data processing and analysis tools (e.g., Dataflow, BigQuery, Spark). Knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks. Experience with cloud infrastructure and networking. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
