This role involves working with both on-premise and cloud-based data platforms and utilizing a range of technologies, including ETL, business intelligence, data lakes, messaging, data warehousing, and machine learning. You will collaborate closely with IT, enterprise architecture, and LOB stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that support the bank's business goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support scalable data solutions, APIs, and tools to meet business needs. Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to translate strategies into technical data solutions. Act as a technical expert in system design, integration, performance, and security. Research current trends in data engineering, architecture, and security to implement innovative solutions. Provide support for troubleshooting data platforms and be available for escalated on-call support. Lead internal projects such as legacy system replacement and monitoring improvements. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor language to technical and non-technical audiences. Fundamental knowledge of distributed computing principles. Understanding of data and application security concepts and best practices.
