| Job Title: Ruby on Rails Developer Experience: 9+ Years Location: Peoria, IL Remote Client: Accenture JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and the ability to work independently on user stories. You will take technical direction from the architect as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails. Work independently on user stories, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery. Collaborate with the architect to follow technical direction and best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Occasionally attend in-person working sessions if based in Peoria or Chicago (not mandatory). REQUIREMENTS: 9+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails. Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
