Below are the detailed responsibilities specific to each module. General Responsibilities: Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and functional teams to understand business requirements and system configurations. Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business and system requirements. Execute manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Report, track, and verify defects through a defect management tool. Validate system setups and configurations in test environments. Ensure that all test scenarios are successfully completed, with accurate data validation and process functionality. Work with end-users to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve any issues identified. Ensure testing adheres to project timelines and quality standards. Document testing processes, results, and provide feedback on improvement areas. Assist in post-implementation verification and support. HCM (Human Capital Management) Modules Responsibilities: Core HCM : Validate employee information management, job and position structures, and organizational hierarchies. Self-Service : Ensure employee and manager self-service functionalities, including updating personal details, leave requests, and approvals. Payroll : Verify payroll processing, including earnings, deductions, tax calculations, and direct deposits. Benefits : Test benefit enrollments, plan configurations, eligibility, and benefit deductions. Compensation : Validate compensation management, salary changes, bonuses, and promotions. Recruiting and Onboarding : Test recruitment workflows, candidate management, and onboarding processes. Performance Management : Validate employee reviews, performance tracking, and goal setting. Workforce Modeling, Planning, and Succession : Ensure accurate workforce modeling and succession planning features. Time & Labor, Webclock, and Absence : Test timecard submissions, absence requests, and integration with payroll. Financials Modules Responsibilities: Payables : Ensure supplier management, invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor reconciliation functions work correctly. Cash Management : Validate bank account setups, cash forecasting, and bank reconciliations. General Accounting (Journals) : Test journal entries, ledger postings, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close processes. Fixed Assets : Ensure asset management functionalities like asset addition, depreciation, and disposals are working. Expenses : Validate employee expense submissions, approvals, reimbursements, and integration with financial ledgers. Procurement Modules Responsibilities: Purchasing : Validate purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, and supplier negotiations. Self-Service Procurement : Ensure self-service requisition functionalities and purchase order creation by end-users. Supplier Model : Verify supplier setups, catalog management, and supplier communications. Receiving Module : Test the receiving process, integration with inventory, and supplier invoice matching for goods received. Skills and Tools: Automation Tools : Experience in using automation testing tools like Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), or other test automation tools. Defect Tracking Tools : Familiarity with tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla for defect management. Database Skills : Ability to query databases using SQL for data validation during testing.
