| Data Architect Raleigh, NC -Remote 1 year contract State Client experience prefers As a Data Architect, you'll lead the development of an enterprise data model for a complex, multi-platform data environment. Your role will involve: Senior Business / Data Analyst -Data Architect Data Model Standardization: Establishing shared data entities and attributes, and standardizing database management systems and tools. Azure Migration: Migrating transactional databases and data warehouses to Azure using Microsoft Dataverse and SQL Server. Data Analysis Leadership: Providing analysis and guidance to data analysts, architects, and developers. Subject Matter Expertise: Offering expertise in Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS. Required Skills: Azure Experience: Proven experience with Azure Data Factory and MS Dataverse. SSIS Expertise: Knowledge of MS SSIS. Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Technical Background: Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field with a focus on data analysis. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Database Understanding: Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MS Access. Data Warehousing and Modeling: Understanding of data warehousing, data mining, and modeling strategies. Data Mapping: Experience designing and delivering data mapping specifications. SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated experience writing ad-hoc SQL statements. Technical Steward: Ability to act as a technical data steward. ERD/Data Modeling: Experience with ERD/Data Modeling tools. Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Hybrid environments. Continuous Improvement: Ability to challenge legacy designs and seek opportunities for improvement. Adaptability: Experience learning new technologies and adapting to change. Data Reporting: Experience with data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI). Data Organization: Ability to organize data for various program areas. Data Visualization: Experience conceptualizing and visualizing data structures.
