Visa:CITIZEN,GREEN CARD,GC EAD,H4 EAD,OPT EAD Title: Data Analyst Location: Everett, MA/Hybrid Duration: 6 Months with a possible extension Hybrid 1 day onsite every week Local Only from MA, NH or RI and must have recent client exp from these locations In-Person Interview Client Job Description 1. Understand data warehouse concepts and needs. 2. Expert knowledge of databases, Snowflake a plus, also Oracle and SQL Server. 3. Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly in both technical and user-friendly language, both in writing and orally. 4. Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills for QA; able to identify errors/discrepancies, isolate the cause, apply solutions and validate the resulting data. 5. Experience with dimensional modeling and knowledge of proper data structures for analytical reporting from an enterprise data warehouse. 6. Good knowledge of applicable data privacy when handling sensitive personal information. 7. Team player who enjoys being part of a supportive team, with a willingness to learn and share knowledge among team members. Preferred qualifications: 1. Experience using database reporting tools such as PowerBI and Tableau. 2. Experience using data catalog tools such as Alation and Socrata. 3. Experience mentoring other analysts and teaching SQL. 4. Confidence recommending policies and procedures to improve database operations and overall computer systems efficiency. 5. Ability to diagram complex data structures. 6. Ability to perform tasks such as analyzing, moving, and loading data, as well as developing T-SQL, PL/SQL, ANSI SQL, or other proprietary SQL languages.
