| From: ayush, Scalable Systems [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description: Expert Swift Engineer (iOS/macOS) Location: Austin, TX About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Expert Swift Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative, user-friendly native client-server applications for both macOS and iOS platforms. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for crafting robust, efficient, and secure code using Swift and SwiftUI. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native iOS and macOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, refine, and implement software features. Write clean, modular, and well-tested code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Integrate applications with APIs from various sources and develop Go (golang) endpoints for backend services. Write efficient SQL queries to interact with databases and perform data analysis. Leverage your experience with ML models to enhance application capabilities (preferred). Prototype new ideas quickly to gather user feedback and drive product development. Solve complex problems in a fast-paced, iterative, and multi-release environment. Ensure robust security and access control measures are implemented in software applications. Automate build processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Build strong relationships with Apple and leverage their expertise to enhance user experience. Demonstrate a strong customer focus and collaborate effectively with business partners. Required Skills and Qualifications: Expert proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS and macOS development. In-depth knowledge of iOS and macOS UI design principles and guidelines. Strong experience with Xcode, XCTest, debugging, and code signing. Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts. Experience with RESTful APIs and web technologies (preferred). Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience with Go (golang) for backend development. Knowledge of ML models and their integration with applications. Experience with Lean Startup methodology and iterative development. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL). Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
