| Job Title: Performance Test Engineer Location: Schdy, NY (Hybrid 3 days on-site) Contract Type: Contract C2C Thermal modelling and analysis programs for gas turbines, steam turbines or overall power plants Role Description: Functional Responsibility Basic understanding of thermodynamics and thermodynamic cycles as they relate to gas turbines. Prior experience in gas turbine or steam turbine performance testing and analysis Training or proficiency in turbomachinery and thermodynamics. Experience with thermal modelling and analysis programs for gas turbines, steam turbines or overall power plants. Advanced degree in Engineering. Customer focused; Team focused. Desirable Skills: A bachelors degree in mechanical or aerospace Engineering Ability to travel extensively in support of global assignments. Desire to grow engineering career within Power Generation High energy, eager to learn, Motivated to learn & grow professionally, self-starter who can operate with limited direction. Ability to communicate to a wide variety of an organization (customer & internal to GEV) Basic understanding of thermodynamics and thermodynamic cycles as they relate to gas turbines. Prior experience in gas turbine or steam turbine performance testing and analysis Training or proficiency in turbomachinery and thermodynamics.
