| Dynamics 365 ERP Functional Architect Location- Houston / REMOTE 12 Months Contract 25% travel for Client Meetings The Senior Manager, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consulting is crucial in bridging client business needs with the functional capabilities of Dynamics 365 F&O. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of finance, supply chain, and operations business processes, along with the ability to design, implement, and optimize Dynamics 365 F&O solutions to transform clients' operations and improve their efficiency. You will lead functional solution design and configuration, focusing on areas like financial management, supply chain management, manufacturing, and procurement. Your expertise in translating client requirements into effective, scalable Dynamics 365 F&O implementations will play a key role in delivering successful projects. Key Responsibilities Client Vision & Technical Implementation: Act as the functional lead and solution architect on client projects, ensuring that Dynamics 365 F&O solutions are tailored to meet clients' specific business requirements in finance, operations, and supply chain management. Dynamics 365 F&O Mastery: Lead the configuration of D365 F&O modules including Finance, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Inventory Management to enhance clients' business processes. Business Process Design: Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, and design Dynamics 365 F&O solutions that streamline operations, improve financial performance, and optimize supply chain efficiency. Project Leadership: Drive project delivery by leading functional teams, managing client expectations, and ensuring successful project outcomes that meet business goals and timelines. Collaborative Excellence: Collaborate closely with technical teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction. Travel Engagement: Travel to client meetings and some internal team gatherings is required, typically less than 25% of the time, with occasional surges to 50%. Your flexibility and willingness to travel are essential in fostering strong client and team relationships. Certification and Continuous Learning: Maintain current Microsoft certifications and continuously expand your knowledge to ensure that your skills remain cutting-edge in the rapidly evolving Dynamics ecosystem. Qualifications Proven Dynamics 365 Experience: 8+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with a demonstrated history of successfully leading functional project implementations. Microsoft Certification: Mandatory MB-920 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals Finance and Operations Apps) certification. Highly experienced Dynamics 365 F&O consultants without this certification will be considered, but certification will be expected within 90 days of employment. Preferred Certifications: MB-300 (Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations), MB-310 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance), MB-330 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management), PL-900 (Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals) certifications are highly desirable. Business Process Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial, operational, and supply chain business processes with the ability to design solutions that meet complex business needs. Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to design solutions that address long-term business challenges, optimize operations, and provide value across large enterprises. Effective Communication: Ability to articulate functional business requirements and complex concepts to both business and technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
