Your expertise in Scrum methodologies, combined with your understanding of data governance principles, will drive efficiency and promote continuous improvement within our project teams. Key Responsibilities: Agile Leadership: Serve as a servant leader and coach, guiding teams in Agile practices and principles to ensure successful project outcomes. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring that all team members are engaged and aligned with project goals. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging open communication, collaboration, and innovation within the team. Mentor team members on Agile methodologies and practices, helping them to develop their skills and understanding of Scrum. Project Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-organized and reflective of project requirements and business objectives. Track and report on project progress, including sprint goals, velocity, and other key metrics, to stakeholders and senior management. Identify and remove impediments that may hinder the teams progress, addressing challenges promptly and effectively. Ensure that Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) are utilized effectively for tracking progress, managing tasks, and facilitating communication. Data Governance Focus: Utilize your knowledge of data governance concepts to guide the team in the successful delivery of data governance projects. This includes data privatization, data masking, and data lineage. Understand and apply data security techniques such as data encryption and obfuscation to ensure that data governance solutions adhere to best practices and compliance standards. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that data governance frameworks and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) are integrated into project deliverables. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project goals, timelines, and progress to all relevant parties, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives. Address and resolve conflicts or issues within the team, promoting a positive and productive work environment. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate team performance and project outcomes to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Agile best practices to continuously refine and improve project management processes Qualifications: Scrum Master Certification: Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred. Other relevant Agile certifications will also be considered. Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a similar role, particularly in data governance projects. Proven track record of leading Agile teams to successful project outcomes. Technical Skills: Data Governance Concepts: In-depth knowledge of data governance concepts including data privatization, data masking, and data lineage. Data Security Techniques: Understanding of data security techniques such as data encryption and obfuscation. Agile Tools: Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve project outcomes. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation among team members and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data privacy standards such as GDPR and HIPAA. Advanced certifications or training in Agile methodologies and data governance.
