| From: ayush, Scalable Systems [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description: MDM Business System Analyst San Francisco, CA The MDM Business System Analyst (BSA) is a critical role responsible for ensuring the effective management and governance of master data within the organization. This position will collaborate with product managers, operational managers, and external vendors to ensure consistent data management and accurate information flow to support core product functions (such as Payments) and corporate functions (such as Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Regulatory reporting). Responsibilities Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze and understand existing data structures, processes, and quality issues. Develop data models and standards to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Business Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders, including product managers, operational managers, and subject matter experts. Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with industry standards. System Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate MDM solutions with other enterprise systems and applications. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors providing MDM solutions and services. Project Management: Coordinate and oversee MDM projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project plans. Qualifications Required: At least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or consultant in the field of Master Data Management. Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts, industry data standards, and data governance. Experience with Informatica MDM and SAP MDG. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of system and software development, technical application architecture design, and testing methodologies. Ability to multi-task and work quickly, managing multiple projects/work streams simultaneously. Proficient with MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. Project management experience organizing tasks and tracking deliverables. Agile exposure and excellent communication skills in English. Preferred: Experience with master data and data quality in relation to product/data considerations. Experience in managing small to medium projects. Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
