| Rate: DOE USC/H1B only Must have linked in with profile picture and relevant connections Job Title: SAP SD Consultant with Retail Experience Location: Portland, OR Hybrid (Locals only) Duration: Long Term Virtual Interview Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant with a strong background in retail to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing and optimizing SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules in a retail environment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to drive successful SAP projects and improve our retail operations. Key Responsibilities: Consultation & Implementation: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP SD modules tailored to retail operations, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, and customer master data. Customization & Optimization: Customize and optimize SAP SD solutions to meet the specific needs of retail clients, ensuring alignment with business processes and goals. Integration: Work closely with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO) and external systems to ensure seamless integration and data flow across all platforms. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system configurations. Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct system testing, identify and resolve issues, and ensure the quality and performance of SAP SD solutions. Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, including creating user documentation and conducting workshops to enhance user proficiency. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP SD best practices and retail industry trends, recommending and implementing enhancements to improve system functionality and business processes. Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with a focus on retail industry implementations and support. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP SD module configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems. Retail Expertise: Proven experience working with retail-specific processes, such as pricing, promotions, sales order processing, and customer management. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing and resolving issues. Certifications: SAP SD certification is preferred but not required. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
