Role: Bioinformatics BA / Product owner Location: Remote USA Duration : Longterm Contract Domain : Healthcare Bioinformatics Job description: Must have: Business Analyst, Requirement gathering, Next generation Sequencing (NGS) pipelines, GxP compliance and documentation. Maintain active communication with business users and stakeholders to manage expectations. Lead requirements gathering, analysis and verification to write requirement statements that are complete and maintain the same in JIRA/Confluence. Ensure clarity between requirements and team (offsite) Design defines and test project requirements. Communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner. Working knowledge of bioinformatics pipeline related to NGS analysis. Knowledge of WGS, WES/WXS and RNA-SEQ analysis. Knows about analysis of Multiplexing data. Must have bioinformatics background specifically in cancer genomics. Understanding about mutations, vcf format and human genome. Must have knowledge of bioinformatics databases like clinvar, dbSNP, UNIPORT, COSMIC etc. Good to have knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases like ENSEMBL, UCSC. Responsible for Validation and Compliance. Responsible for Trace matrix, SDLC documentation such as UR, FRS etc Comfortable with Linux. Participated and is aware of agile processes.
