Role: Azure DevOps Engineer Location: San Antonio/Dallas ,TX Please check below mendatory before sharing resume 11 + years Experience in Azure Devops Azure PostgreSQL, Jenkins, and Azure Monitor Shell, Python, PowerShell Job Description: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be doing below tasks: Implement CICD pipelines, monitoring, and auto-scaling for services using Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Azure Monitor. Manage databases, virtual machines, dockers, and Azure resources using tools such as Azure CLI, Azure Portal, and Azure PowerShell. Troubleshoot issues related to performance, networking, storage, and security. Perform initial due-diligence using diagnostic tools to understand the root-cause of the issue and help teams resolve issues. Manage Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Key Vaults, Azure PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, etc. Ensure high availability, backup, and recovery of Azure resources Work closely with Dev and Infrastructure teams to ensure the products are moving towards the process from development to production smoothly using agile methodologies and best practices. Automate processes and sub-processes using programming languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell. Develop software algorithms using software design patterns. Createupdate/maintain scripts for Azure pipelines using YAML. Resolve git related issues such as merge conflicts and code reviews using pull requests and branching strategies. Provide technical leadership to the offshore team. Responsible for providing solutions, their implementation from start to finish, and resolving technical queries. Key Skills: Strong DevOps experience on Azure DevOps and Jenkins Coding/development experience conceptually strong (pref. Shell, Python, PowerShell) Experience creating and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or API wrappers (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure succeful delivery of complex projects. (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
