The position demands strong technical expertise in application development, code maintenance, and production issue resolution. The developer will ensure best practices are followed and work closely with both technical and business teams. The candidate must be able to work remotely but will be required to visit the office once every 90 days for in-person meetings. Additionally, the position involves an on-call rotation every 6+ weeks. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain VB.NET and C# applications, SQL code, and backend services. Work with complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server. Design and develop applications using appropriate software design patterns to ensure maintainability and reusability. Write effective unit tests and integration tests to maintain high-quality software standards. Collaborate with business and system analysts to understand and clarify business requirements and implement them. Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices are enforced. Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on complex development tasks. Address and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Write and maintain system documentation where required.
