Provide technical and functional expertise, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them efficiently. Create and maintain detailed documentation including functional specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts. Train end-users on SAP IM/MM/PP processes and best practices, ensuring effective adoption of new solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI, WM). Key Responsibilities: SAP IM (Inventory Management): Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP IM settings including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, stock movements, and inventory valuation. Customize inventory management processes to support business requirements, such as cycle counting, physical inventory, and inventory adjustments. Develop enhancements and custom solutions using user exits, BAPIs, and other available SAP tools to streamline inventory operations. Inventory Management and Control: Design and implement inventory strategies that improve accuracy and reduce discrepancies, such as ABC analysis and inventory optimization techniques. Manage stock levels, conduct root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, and provide solutions to minimize variances. Implement inventory reporting and analytics to provide insights into stock levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics. Business Analysis and Process Improvement: Collaborate with business users to gather inventory management requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Analyze current inventory management processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend best practices to enhance efficiency. Assist in the development of inventory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for the SAP IM module, including resolving issues related to inventory transactions, stock discrepancies, and system errors. Work closely with other SAP functional and technical teams (e.g., MM, WM, SD, and FI) to ensure seamless integration of inventory processes. Conduct system testing, validate changes, and ensure proper functioning of inventory management configurations. SAP MM (Materials Management): Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP MM module settings including material master data, vendor master data, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification. Customize procurement processes such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and service entry sheets. Develop and implement custom solutions and enhancements using user exits, BAPIs, and other SAP tools. Procurement & Inventory Management: Design and optimize procurement workflows including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier evaluation to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Manage inventory processes including stock transfers, inventory adjustments, and physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Implement and manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) settings to ensure material availability and efficient inventory turnover. Business Analysis and Process Improvement: Work with key users to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into SAP MM solutions. Analyze existing procurement and inventory processes, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices. Develop and deploy reports and analytics to monitor procurement performance, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the SAP MM module, addressing issues related to procurement, inventory, and material planning. Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (e.g., IM, PP, SD, WM, and FI) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. SAP PP (Production Planning): Configuration and Customization: Configure SAP PP module settings including master data (Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers), and production orders. Customize production planning processes such as demand management, capacity planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and shop floor control. Develop and implement enhancements to SAP PP functionality using user exits, BAPIs, and other available tools. Production Planning and Execution: Design and optimize production planning processes, including discrete manufacturing, repetitive manufacturing, and process industry solutions. Manage the planning and execution of production orders, batch management, and process orders to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. Support production scheduling and capacity planning to minimize bottlenecks and ensure on-time delivery. Business Analysis and Process Improvement: Work with key business users to understand their production planning requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for process improvements to optimize production efficiency. Develop reports and dashboards using SAP PP data to provide insights into production performance and key metrics. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the SAP PP module, resolving issues, and ensuring continuous system availability. Collaborate with other SAP functional and technical teams (such as MM, SD, QM, and PM) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Conduct root cause analysis of production-related issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
