| Hello Partner, Hope you are well Job Title: SAP Project Manager Manufacturing Domain Location: 100% Remote Experience: 13+ Years Job Overview: The SAP Project Manager in the Manufacturing domain will lead and manage SAP projects, ensuring successful delivery across manufacturing processes. This role requires a blend of strong project management skills and deep expertise in SAP solutions (such as SAP PP, QM, PM) tailored to manufacturing environments. The SAP Project Manager will collaborate with IT, manufacturing, and operations teams to align SAP initiatives with business goals, driving efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements in manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP projects across the manufacturing domain, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and communication plans. Manage project scope, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key business stakeholders in manufacturing, production, quality, and maintenance to ensure SAP solutions meet operational needs. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, facilitating clear communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project progress, milestones, and key decisions. SAP Solution Delivery: Ensure successful design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions in manufacturing, such as PP (Production Planning), QM (Quality Management), and PM (Plant Maintenance). Oversee the integration of SAP with other enterprise systems (MES, ERP, shop floor systems), ensuring seamless data flow and efficient process execution. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinating with manufacturing teams to validate that SAP solutions meet operational requirements. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes using SAP technology, identifying opportunities to enhance production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. Standardize and optimize SAP-related workflows across production, quality, and maintenance operations to increase reliability and scalability. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to recommend and implement SAP enhancements or upgrades that support business objectives. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration and coordination among functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and manufacturing stakeholders. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven project environment. Manage external vendors and consultants, ensuring that their deliverables align with project goals and timelines. Change Management & Training: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to SAP systems within manufacturing operations. Oversee the development of training materials and lead training sessions for end users in manufacturing departments to ensure proper adoption of new SAP processes and systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Experience: 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 4+ years of experience managing SAP projects in the manufacturing domain. Proven experience delivering SAP implementations and upgrades, specifically in modules such as PP, QM, and PM. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., production planning, quality management, plant maintenance) and how they are supported by SAP systems. Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including business leaders, IT, and external vendors. Skills: Strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar). Deep knowledge of SAP modules in the manufacturing space (e.g., PP, QM, PM) and experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or SAP certification in project management or relevant modules. Experience with Agile project management methodologies. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in managing SAP integration with MES, IoT, and other production-related systems.
