(Note: If you are not interested please share it to your friends/Colleagues, Thanks in advance) Role: Network Security Engineer Job type: Longterm Contract Location : ROSEVILLE, CA (Onsit from day 1 ) Role Name: Senior Engineer (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) Role Description: As a Senior Engineer specializing in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, you will be responsible for global solution planning and deployment, including the installation and management of Infoblox DNS and IPAM, integration with Akamai DNS, and F5 GSLB. You will also manage internal DNS control, ensure high availability, and update processes for record creation and zone management. Key Responsibilities: DNS & IPAM Global Solution Planning & Deployment: Install and configure Infoblox DNS and IPAM systems. Manage dynamic DNS and zone transfers. Integrate DNS with Akamai and update registrars. Integrate with Active Directory (AD) and ESAE stacks, including forwarding and delegation. Oversee internal global DNS deployment with Infoblox. Roll out and manage F5 GSLB for global availability, including internal and external GSLB. Assume control of internal DNS, including owning all root zones internally. Process Management: Update and formalize processes for updating and creating DNS records and zones. Develop and document procedures for day-to-day operations. Tool Management: Use and support Infoblox and Akamai tools. Manage record creation and deletion, DHCP scope reservation, and assignment. Apply strong concepts in subnetting and IP management. Competencies: Network Security Akamai Experience Required: 6-8 years Essential Skills: Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions. Proficiency in deploying and managing Infoblox DNS and IPAM. Experience with dynamic DNS, zone transfers, and integration with Akamai DNS. Knowledge of AD/ESAE stack integration and delegation. Experience with global DNS and GSLB (F5) deployments. Strong understanding of DHCP scope reservation and assignment. Proficiency in subnetting, IP management, and BIND servers. Desirable Skills: Advanced knowledge of Infoblox and Akamai tools. Experience with record creation, deletion, and formalizing processes. Strong background in global DNS control and internal DNS management.
