Job Description - JOB TITLE: Front Office Trade Reports Developer Location: New York Duration: 12 months Visa: USC/GC/EADs MOI: Skype LinkedIn, DL, and Visa is Must MUST HAVE: Trade Support Front Office Desk Support Treasury / Fixed Income experience Should be open to giving online TEST for Python and SQL This position requires a strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Excel VBA development, SQL writing and the ability to understand, at a high level, business and financial processes. The developer is expected to perform development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements and design documents, in addition to resolving defects encountered during the various testing cycles. The candidate will be working closely with trading desks in order to build and support their tools. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in writing Python, Excel VBA and SQL code, developing and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and as a team player in fast-paced dynamic software development/support environments. Strong analytical skills for problem-solving Basic Finance knowledge Experience in working in a trading floor Candidate needs to have this functional knowledge: #1 - Treasury bonds how they work and workflow of bonds (front to back office) #2 - Swaps/Interest rate derivatives # 3 - good trading floor knowledge of now the treasury/SWAPS and interest rate derivatives execute and flow from front to back office. Responsibilities: Reviewing gathered requirements. Analyzing and designing applications efficiently to ensure that customers' needs are met respecting due dates. Modifying or creating new user interfaces in Excel as well as creating and modifying SQL queries. Troubleshooting VBA code and stored procedures Participating in the application testing process.
