Job Description -

The Senior Systems Engineer III will assist in the design,

implementation, security, and support of large multi-site Windows Server

environments with a strong focus on systems integration and performance. 

Planning, design and implementation will utilize industry best practices, while

adhering to company policies and procedures, in order to ensure environment

provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals and

regulatory requirements. This role will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert

(SME) on the companys installed technology assets, mentoring, training and

supporting System Administrators in an environment that fosters cross-training

and voluntary knowledge transfer.

MAIN DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under the direction of the Manager of Systems Engineering
Plans and schedules project work to meet assignment time-frames.
Meets formally or informally with the manager or designated senior

staff to discuss status, ask for assistance on intractable problems, and

to review accomplishments.
Assists the Operations System Administration team in providing 3rd

tier support to enterprise systems.
Assists the IT Security, Application Development, Network and

Operations Service teams in the implementation and maintenance of the IT

infrastructure.
Accepts complete technical responsibility for equipment and

assigned technologies.
Makes evaluations and recommendations concerning current systems.

Documents the design, implementation and final configuration of

both new and existing technologies and equipment.
Escalates intractable problems to vendors and/or senior manager for

resolution.
Opens problem reporting tickets and accurately uses all problem

tracking software systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must adhere to company Policies and Procedures.
Must be able to use common hand tools and electronic test equipment

to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with computers, peripherals,

and computer software.
Must be able to work with members of the Technical Staff and

Management in a fast-paced environment to identify, isolate and resolve

hardware and software issues.

Must maintain technical documentation for all systems.

Analyzes business needs and makes appropriate infrastructure

modifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires well developed written and verbal

communications skills.

Must be able to travel to remote sites as

may be required in support of operations

    

Must be fluent in the English language.

Must comply with internal controls.

Experience with the following is a must:
Microsoft Server and Active Directory
VMware Virtualization technologies
Cisco UCS Blade System
3PAR SAN
Veeam Backup
Microsoft Exchange/Office 365

Experience with the following is a plus:
Microsoft Azure
Red Hat Linux
Cisco Network
Palo Alto Network
PowerShell scripting   
Deployment Automation technologies (Ansible,

Terraform)
VMware vRealize suite of tools
VMware NSX-T
Load Balancer technologies (F5)
Industry Standard Casino Gaming Application

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A Bachelors degree in Information Systems

or equivalent training and experience is preferred.

Must have 7-10 years relevant application

and/or IT operations experience.

Proven relevant experience with

Virtualization technologies.

Extensive experience with Active Directory

Hands-on network, software and hardware

troubleshooting experience.
