Experience working on devops tools like ansible, docker, kubernetes etc. Experience monitoring applications in production and ongoing maintenance of a website platform. Strong communication skills. Knowledge on monitoring application like Splunk , AppDynamics etc. Basic knowledge of Unix, understanding of JVMs etc. Manage cloud infrastructure and system administration and work with teams to identify and repair issues on an as-needed basis. Expected to work well under pressure with tight deadlines for certain tasks, and a proactive demeanor and friendly disposition are also helpful. Need to be flexible, mostly working during regular business hours but should be ready to work in shifts. Must Have 1.Knowledge of Docker, including building docker base images, starting /stopping/deleting containers and all the associated admin work related to containers. 2.Good knowledge of Kubernetes. Knowledge of EKS would be helpful as client would be moving to EKS possibly next year 3.Knowledge of ansible scripts. Running of ansible jobs to assist in deployments. 4.Good knowledge of UNIX commands and UNIX scripting 5.Knowledge of Jenkins and understanding of Maven. 6.Ability to learn further on the job and keen to learn new technologies.
