This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure seamless AV experiences for meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Additionally, this role will work in collaboration with an AV Engineer to ensure the highest standards of AV service delivery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation and Setup: Install, configure, and test audio, video, and collaboration equipment including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras, and conferencing systems. Ensure all AV equipment is properly connected and integrated with existing IT infrastructure. 2. Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal performance. Respond to and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment in a timely manner. Provide on-site and remote support for AV-related incidents and service requests. 3. User Training and Assistance: Conduct training sessions for end-users on how to operate AV equipment and collaboration tools. Create and maintain user guides and documentation for AV systems. 4. Event Support: Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, webinars, and other events, ensuring seamless AV integration. Coordinate with event organizers to understand requirements and provide appropriate AV solutions. 5. Project Management: Assist with planning and execution of AV projects, including upgrades and new installations. 6. System Integration: Integrate AV systems with other communication and IT systems to enhance collaboration and productivity. Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed. 7. Collaboration with AV Engineer: Work closely with the AV Engineer to design and implement AV solutions that meet organizational needs. Assist the AV Engineer in troubleshooting complex AV issues and developing innovative solutions. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors degree in Audio Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV installation, maintenance, and support. Proficiency with AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Cisco WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other collaboration tools. Strong understanding of networking principles and their application in AV environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with end-users and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
