| Hello, Role: Golang Developer with GCP Cloud Location: Issaquah/Seattle, WA - Onsite Duration: 6-12months NO OPT and CPT Visa Status Job Description: 1. Designing and Developing Cloud-Based Applications Build cloud-native applications using Golang, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performant on GCP. Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems. Ensure cloud infrastructure best practices are followed. 2. Integration with GCP Services Integrate applications with GCP services like Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Firestore, and BigQuery. Leverage GCP APIs for cloud services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE). 3. Optimizing and Scaling Cloud Applications Ensure the scalability and performance of cloud-based applications. Optimize code and infrastructure for cost-efficiency. Implement autoscaling, load balancing, and monitoring of applications on GCP. 4. Cloud Infrastructure and Automation Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using GCP services and tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Kubernetes. Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GCP tools such as Cloud Build and Container Registry. 5. Security and Compliance Implement security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, encryption, and secure API access. Ensure applications and infrastructure comply with industry standards and GCP security guidelines. 6. Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams Work closely with DevOps, data engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment between development and deployment. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and system design sessions. 7. Monitoring and Troubleshooting Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using GCP tools like Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring. Debug and troubleshoot issues in the cloud environment to ensure smooth operation of applications. 8. Maintaining Code Quality Follow best practices for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Golang code. Ensure codebase is properly tested and manage technical debt through code refactoring and improvements. 9. Golang Expertise Leverage Golangs concurrency features and standard libraries for developing efficient cloud-based applications.
