| Title: Remote .NET Software Engineer Location: 100% Remote Rate: $50/hr. on Max Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD Duration: 6 Months CTH Candidate must have an active and an updated LinkedIn ID with a picture and current location (REQUIRED!!) MUST Haves Must have strong .NET Development (At least 8 years) Strong C# Development (At least 8 years) Strong SQL Server development (At least 8 years) Strong API and front end development Strong hands-on SSIS experience (At least 2 years of recent experience) Strong ETL Experience (At least 2 years of recent experience) Broad Function: The Software Engineer impacts the design and development of the company's core products, including existing and new applications and services. He/She helps design solutions, makes recommendations and participates in design reviews. The Sr. Software Engineer translates requirements into functional specifications and will work cooperatively and effectively to deliver products according to specifications and schedule. Experience: 3-7 years working as part of an agile development team, preferably with at least one of those years in a 100% remote capacity Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field preferred or associate degree with relevant work experience. 5+ years of writing high quality, well-tested C# code across a variety of application types (web applications, web APIs, console applications, class libraries) 5+ years developing performant and scalable ASP.NET (MVC, Razor Pages, WebForms) web applications 5+ years developing web frontends using JavaScript (ES6 preferred) and/or TypeScript (Vue.js a plus) Deep knowledge of ORMs and awareness of the potential pitfalls (Entity Framework preferred) 5+ years designing relational databases, writing, and tuning non-trivial SQL queries 5+ years maintaining and/or modernizing legacy applications Expert knowledge of modern web development techniques and tools (NPM, Gulp, LESS, Bootstrap) A true full-stack developer who should be comfortable doing all of the following: designing UI based on business requirements, building complex web UIs, implementing a scalable backend, designing database structure, writing database queries, tuning for performance. Self-reliant and independent pragmatic thinker who prefers a hands-off approach from management Bonus points: AWS implementation and administration, Docker, Kubernetes, SOA Qualifications: Able to quickly understand requirements for business applications and procedures. Able to manage a high volume work environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong team player. Follow assigned technical project plans and timelines. Ensure that deliverable content meets the objective that is intended.
