As a Kafka SME, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data flow and optimize our Kafka clusters. Key Responsibilities: Kafka Pipeline Design and Development: Design and implement robust Kafka-based data pipelines to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain Kafka topics, partitions, and consumer groups. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline. Kafka Cluster Management: Monitor and optimize Kafka cluster performance to ensure high availability and scalability. Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues and implement corrective measures. Stay up-to-date with the latest Kafka advancements and best practices. Integration with Big Data Technologies: Collaborate with teams using Hadoop, Spark, and Storm to integrate with Kafka pipelines. Ensure seamless data flow between Kafka and other big data components. Customer Support and Queries: Handle customer inquiries and provide technical support related to Kafka. Resolve Kafka-related issues promptly and effectively. Qualifications: Strong understanding of Kafka architecture, components, and best practices. Proven experience in designing and developing Kafka-based data pipelines. Proficiency in Kafka administration, including cluster configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Storm. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Kafka or related technologies.
