| From: Harsh Goyal, Vizon Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description -NEW REQ: Title: Senior Oracle DBA 100% remote (California candidates only, must live in California) Must have GC , GC EAD, or USC only for this Group HIRING MANAGER NOTES Hiring Manager is ONLY choosing candidates to interview, that have ALL the MUST HAVEs ..Must Haves..: (Make sure these are in the company descriptions on the resume, not just at the top under Summary All of these are must haves please have this in the job descriptions so the hiring manager can see it. 7+ years (Current) Oracle DBA experience working with the tuning processes running on Oracle database 7 years Experience managing Oracle database on AWS RDS instance 5+ years Current Experience generating and interpreting Oracle tuning tools - AWR, ASH, V$ views, SQL tracing and real-time monitoring 5+ years experience with Oracle Golden Gate (GG) configuration, how to resync GG replicated tables and troubleshoot replication issues casing sync issues Be able to understand the logic of SQL code and provide recommendations for improving their performance Indexes, hints, table reorg, index rebuilt, etc. Know how to get information on the execution history of SQL queries in the database and analyze the performance of past and current executions change of execution plan, stale statistics, data growth, etc. Be familiar with Table partitioning and stats collection on partitioned tables, archiving old data from partitioned and non-partitioned tables. POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a candidate with an extensive background in tuning processes running on Oracle database for a long-term contract.Experience needed: 7+ years (Current) Oracle DBA experience Experience managing Oracle database on AWS RDS instance Be familiar with Oracle session wait events and be able to use the information from the wait event to find the cause of the performance issue. Identify system bottlenecks - CPU, IO, Memory, Network or processes.
