Rate: $40/hr. on W2 and $50/hr. on C2C/1099 Max no Flexibility Visa: US Citizen, GC, GC-EAD, H4/EAD Notes from Call: Supporting Apigee platform (API management platform) Need strong AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, and API management platforms automation is very important candidates need to be able to articulate past experience, projects they worked on, and how they worked with this technology want to see where they have sent most of their time and not general resumes. They hate "we " in the resume, want to know what the candidate specifically did focus on accomplishments and the value add to the companies they are working at like it when candidates can talk about challenges and issues on projects they worked and how they were overcome Job Description: The Reliability & Integration Engineering team is responsible for platform engineering. The Sr. DevOps Engineer will be responsible for migrating the private cloud Apigee API management platform migration to Apigee Hybrid, automating through Ansible, and coordinating the migration with development and operations teams. Required Technical Expertise Experience in container orchestration solutions with Kubernetes, AWS ECS/EKS/Fargate 3+ years of experience within the Amazon Web Services platform or GCP or Azure Strong infrastructure engineering experience Cloud application architecture Microservices, REST, etc. Docker container development experience Experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS 5+ years of systems design, programming, implementation, and integration experience A solid core foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering including Unix/Linux compute, networking, storage, and monitoring stacks. Experience developing micro services in both multi-tenant and dedicated micro service runtime environments. Is familiar with the Open Container Initiative and both docker and containerd runtimes.
