| From: Sonali, kpg99 inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Cloud/ FinOps Engineer Visa: GC USC only Duration: 6 months contract Location: Cincinnati, Charlotte, Chicago, Portland, San Jose, or Boca Raton (Hybird 1-2 days onsite in a week) (Locals only) 5-7 years of general cloud experience, with a focus on Microsoft Azure or GCP. At least 2 years of experience in cloud cost optimization using tools like Azure/GCP Billing, Cloudability, KubeCost, or similar. This is a two-tiered role: 1. Evaluate current cloud tools in use, identify cost savings opportunities, and drive cloud cost optimization strategies. 2. Lead efforts to implement cost-saving measures within the team. Additional Requirements: Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban preferred; Jira experience is a plus). Strong scripting skills and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Familiarity with cloud deployment/management tools like Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), Azure AKS, and Rancher (preferred). A passion for staying updated with the latest cloud trends and technologies. Some experience with Cloud Automation and orchestration tools is preferred. Nice-to-Have Skills: Cloud automation, orchestration, and configuration management experience. A background in keeping up with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
