This involves participating in the entire testing lifecycle, from requirements definition to post-launch analysis. The role demands a strong understanding of call center technologies, testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Participate in requirements gathering to align the test strategy with business needs. Create comprehensive End-to-End/Beta Test Strategies and detailed test plans. Lead End-to-End/Beta testing activities and pre-launch preparations. Identify and document issues, distinguishing between defects and requirements gaps. Collaborate with IT developers on defect review calls, test planning, and strategy sessions. Actively participate in the defect management process and log gating statuses. Provide daily test status summaries and comprehensive Test Summary reports. Contribute to Go/No Go launch decisions. Conduct Ad Hoc testing as needed. Act as an influencer for process improvement and software quality. Ensure smooth operation of processes and procedures. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams for new product launches, initiatives, or process enhancements. Essential Skills: Proven experience in quality assurance testing, specifically in IVR or call center environments. Hands-on experience with call center technologies like IVR, ACD, Agent Desktop Tools, and Call Recording applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SQL. Experience with both custom-developed and packaged applications, along with formal development methodologies. Ability to translate functional requirements into well-structured test cases. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations. Comprehensive understanding of software testing phases, from Test Strategy documentation to test case creation and execution. Active participation in root-cause analysis for defects. Desirable Skills: Prior experience in a call center environment. Experience with Agile or other development methodologies. Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
