Position: IOS Developer Work Location: Durham, NC / Charlottesville, VA / Columbus, OH (Hybrid Locals Only) Required Work Authorization: USC, GC, H4 Type of Hire: C2C Responsibilities : Design and develop high-quality iOS software applications . Build and ship durable, secure, scalable, and always-up software code . Architect robust networking and data modeling layers . Provide recommendations on the best ways to solve a problem for a particular platform . Champion programming best practices and modular design patterns . Own the delivery of major features and components . Mentor other developers . Collaborate and communicate with teams and clients to deliver software in an agile environment . Improve existing code to make it more maintainable, testable, and elegant . Practice pair programming . Write unit tests to ensure code coverage . Participate in Scrum and/or Kanban processes and ceremonies. Qualifications: At least 5 years of professional programming experience . Strong understanding of the iOS development Lifecycle and ecosystem . Familiarity with languages, frameworks, and libraries such as Swift, UIKit, Auto Layout, XC Test framework, and other core Apple frameworks . Experience with emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Voice, and/or AR/VR . Motivated by solving problems and finding creative solutions . Believe in autonomy and taking initiative . Driven by curiosity and enthusiastic about learning new technologies.
