Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Designing and implementing complex network solutions to meet business requirements. Managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers, Firewalls, and Load Balancers. Troubleshooting network issues and providing timely resolution to ensure minimal downtime. Monitoring network performance and security, implementing necessary improvements and optimizations. Collaborating with cross- functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions for Green-Field / Brown-Field. Documenting network configurations, procedures, and best practices. Staying updated on emerging networking technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement. The ideal candidate should be calm under pressure, a team player, flexible, and customer focused. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. WHAT YOULL BRING: Highly skilled in troubleshooting techniques. Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide expert-level support in resolving complex network issues. 8+ years of work experience as a network engineer preferably backed by current Cisco CCNP ( CCIE is add-on) certifications and Palo Alto Experience ( PSNSE is add-on) Hands-on working experience in a multi-vendor environment including Cisco Nexus, Cisco 6500s, Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco WLC (AireOS & IOS-XE), Cisco Access Points 91xx, Cisco ASA Firewalls, F5 LTM and Palo Alto devices. Switching technologies PVST+/RPVST+/MST, BPDUguard, BPDUfilter, Loopguard, Rootguard, SPAN, RSPAN, ERSPAN, PAGP, LACP, etc. In-dept understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and routing protocols (e.g., RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS and BGP). Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools Knowledge on Tools Like Wireshark, iPerf, etc. VPN Technologies like MPLS, DMVPN, GET VPN, EVPN, SSL VPN, FLEX VPN, etc. Multicast Technologies like IGMPv2, IGMPv3, SSM, ASM, etc. Detailed security experience with ACLs, IPsec, SSL, traffic inspection, and DDoS mitigation techniques.
