Strong background in ETL processes and data pipeline automation. Experience with data security best practices and compliance with data governance standards. Proficiency in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Experience in performance tuning and optimization of data systems. Strong skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable and high-performance data platforms. Define and implement architecture for data processing, storage, and retrieval systems. Ensure the platform supports data warehousing, analytics, and reporting needs. Build, maintain, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Automate data pipelines for real-time and batch processing. Ensure data integrity, quality, and availability throughout the data lifecycle. Implement data security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and data masking. Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant regulations. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and queries. Deploy and manage data platforms on cloud services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Leverage big data tools such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and more. Set up and manage monitoring systems to track data platform performance, uptime, and usage. Diagnose and resolve data-related issues in production systems. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automating the deployment of data infrastructure. Utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar for automation.
