| From: Shiva Chauhan, TEK Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hello, Hope you are doing well, Please check the below job description and let me know if you have any suitable candidate for the same: Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Hybrid (2 days remote/3 days office) Duration: 6 months Job Description: Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for various enterprise securitysolutions and privilege management tools such as Symantec Endpoint Protection,McAfee Orchestrator, TrendMicro and Crowdstrike Falcon, best security practice,and stable operation while enhancing existing solutions Partner with security architecture on implementing and improving securitysolutions Champion the technical details of security solution initiatives includingbusiness case Continually assess security controls for deficiencies then remediate Measure and report key performance indicators for responsible solutionsincluding effectiveness of control activities, uptime, and enhancement demand DesiredSkills: (Preferred not required) Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)(desired) Experience with or knowledge of various platform security tools and scoringconcepts (e.g., AV, HIPS, firewalls, CVSS, OWASP 10, etc.) Experience with or knowledge of various networking concepts and devices (e.g.,routing, switching, VLANs, etc.) Experience with or knowledge of various network security tools (e.g.,firewalls, NIPS, WIPS, VPN, DLP, etc.) (desired) Experience with or knowledge of various databases (e.g., Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.)(desired) General information security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc.) (desired) Technical information security certification (e.g., CCNP, MCSE, MCITP/MCTS,etc.) (desired) Experience in the Financial Services industry (desired) Ability to communicate technical information in understandable business terms Ability to deliver results in a team environment, as well as independently Excellent judgment and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent documentation skills Excellent ability to calculate both risk and return on investment RequiredSkills: Minimum 5 years information security experience Minimum 3 years security engineering experience Experience with designing and deploying infrastructure which supports themanagement of various security solutions, creating policies (i.e. Firewall,Application and Device Control etc) and overall management and troubleshootingof the endpoint security solutions. Experience with administering and deploying various security solutions.
