| From: Charan, Anveta [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: IT Project Manager SR Location: 55 Trinity Avenue, Suite G700 Atlanta, Georgia 30303 (Hybrid) Note: Locals only Duration: 6+ Months Job Description The IT Project Manager, Sr. plans and coordinates all aspects of IT specific projects from initiation to delivery. The role of this position is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to agreed upon deadlines and within budget. The role also includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to the established project plan. This role defines the projects objectives and ensures delivery of quality. What distinguishes the Senior level is that projects for this role are typically larger and more complex than for non-Sr. Project Managers. This is a fully seasoned professional level capable of independently carrying out most assignments. This level would be attainable by multiple incumbents in a work group (not necessarily by all) but would not be an automatic promotional level. This role requires extensive experience leading Applications Development projects that deliver significant benefit to the organization. Ideal candidate will be experienced in Agile Development, Scrum Master, and DevOps. Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities This is a partial listing of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job successfully. It is not an exhaustive list. Application Development project management is a must-have. Experience with Agile Development, Scrum Master, and DevOps is a plus. Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, and tools of project management. Well-developed technical skills within project management. Skill in the use of personal computers and their associated connectivity and networking; and in assessing the status of IT systems and identifying underlying causes for failures and disruptions in service, and the methods to remediate these issues. Education and Experience: Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or business (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis). 5 years of specific professional experience such as team or project lead. Preferred Qualifications - Education & Experience Masters degree in computer science, engineering or business (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the masters degree on an exception basis) with 5-8 years of experience. Licensures and Certifications PMP preferred.
