Role: Lead React Developer Work Location: San Leandro, California, United States (3 days Hybrid, need locals) 6+ Months Video Interview Synechron/ Wells Fargo Our Challenge: As a Lead React Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment. The Role Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of React developers in building high-quality web applications. Design and architect robust, scalable, and performant front-end solutions using React and related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and product managers. Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and code. Ensure best practices and standards are followed in code development, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation. Stay abreast of the latest developments in React and the JavaScript ecosystem and incorporate them into the development workflow. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Drive front-end performance optimization efforts. Provide estimates and technical guidance for project planning. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Requirements: You are: Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 8 years of experience in front-end development with a focus on React. Proven experience leading a development team and delivering large-scale React applications. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, including hooks and the context API. Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6+). Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. A knack for benchmarking and optimization. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills It would be great if you also had: Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX). Knowledge of React Native for mobile app development is a plus. Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
