As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Software Mobile Application Quality Assurance Tester to our global team. OVERVIEW: Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual App QA Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2 to 4 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on mobile applications. As a Manual App QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications through thorough testing and analysis. Here are some of the EXCITING things youll get to do: Perform manual testing of mobile applications across various platforms (iOS and Android) to identify defects, usability issues, and inconsistencies Solid background in manual validation of features for both UI and functionality, ensuring the quality of mobile applications. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications. Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Document defects and track them through to resolution using bug tracking tools such as Jira. Develop, update, and maintain test cases and test plans using tools like Jira, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospective meetings to provide feedback on testing progress and identify areas for improvement. Communicate testing status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in mobile app testing methodologies. ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2 to 4 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on mobile applications. Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques. Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases for mobile applications. Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience with automated testing tools and techniques is a plus, but not required.
