| Job Summary: The Railroad Commission of Texas is seeking two (2) experienced Salesforce Developer/Programmer Analysts to join our IT team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Salesforce development and programming with a proven track record of implementing and customizing Salesforce solutions. The roles will involve designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications and integrations within our IT systems. Responsibilities: Analyze, design, and code enhancements for complex Salesforce modules. Develop and modify web applications for intricate agency IT systems. Analyze existing programs, formulate logic for new systems, and perform coding, testing, and debugging. Create data conversion and system implementation plans. Prepare and obtain approval for system and programming documentation. Design new database schemas to support data from new applications. Adhere to RRC's security framework, architecture, and design standards, similar to other applications developed using the Salesforce framework. Integrate with mainframe systems, external document services, and existing web services; develop new web services as required. Mandatory Skills: 8 years of excellent analytical and coding skills. 5 years of Salesforce systems implementation experience. 5 years of experience building custom APEX and Visualforce solutions. 5 years of experience with Salesforce, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud functional and application design. 5 years of Salesforce Developer Certification. 1-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience. Desirable Skills: 5 years of experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Workflows, Triggers, REST API. 5 years of experience with Tableau, Microsoft BI, or similar data visualization tools. 5 years of experience with exporting, reporting, and publishing information from Salesforce. 5 years of Salesforce Administration and Configuration experience (e.g., Sites, Security, CORS, Connected Apps). 5 years of experience with Salesforce Sandboxes, integrations, and application development. Additional Requirements: Candidates may be required to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Prior experience in a similar department and recent relevant projects are mandatory.
