The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, with a focus on Python, Spark, and the AWS cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and contributing to our data infrastructure. Expertise with AWS tools like EMR, Glue, and Quicksight is essential. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes. Work with large datasets using technologies like Python and Apache Spark. Implement and optimize workflows using AWS cloud services, including EMR, Glue, S3, and Lambda. Develop visualizations and dashboards in AWS Quicksight to provide insights to business stakeholders. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure the availability and quality of datasets. Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues with data pipelines and infrastructure. Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting. Experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing. Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Stack : o EMR (Elastic MapReduce) o Glue (ETL tool) o S3 (Simple Storage Service) o Lambda (Serverless Computing) Quicksight expertise for data visualization and reporting. Strong understanding of distributed systems, data architecture, and cloud-based infrastructures. Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other AWS services like Redshift, Athena, and Kinesis. Knowledge of DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
