Title/Role:  ServiceNow Technical Specialist
Location: 1020 Birch Ridge Drive Raleigh, NC 27610 (Remote) - Client Preffers Only Locals to NC
Duration: 12 Months

Interview Mode: in-person interview

Note: There will be times when this position will be required for on-site meetings in the Raleigh area

Key Skills:

Candidate must have past work experience with ServiceNow in the areas of help desk
Candidate must have proven ServiceNow implementation experience, a background in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) business process, and working knowledge of IT operation

Required / Desired Skills
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Proven ServiceNow experience
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Basic understanding of ITIL v3 methodologies
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Understanding of enterprise IT architecture
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Working knowledge of relational databases
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.)
Required 3 Years of  Exp with Impeccable time-management and record keeping
Required 5 Years of  Exp with The ability to take complex end-user requirements to code
Required 5 Years of  Exp with A positive can-do attitude & willingness to learn
Required 5 Years of  Exp with A strong personal commitment to quality service
Required 5 Years of  Exp with The ability to work independently and with a team
Required 5 Years of Exp with LDAP directories, such as: Active Directory, eDirectory, OpenLDAP.
Excellent communication

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create and manage ServiceNow applications and modules, including form design, workflow creation, and custom scripting.
Configuration: Customize ServiceNow modules and applications to fit the specific needs of the business, including incident management, change management, problem management, and more.
Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems or platforms using web services, APIs, or other integration tools.
Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve issues with the ServiceNow platform, including debugging and troubleshooting problems with scripts, workflows, or integrations.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
Best Practices: Implement best practices for ServiceNow development and administration, including coding standards, testing procedures, and change management processes.
Upgrades and Maintenance: Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
