The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers, providing technical leadership, and ensuring the seamless operation of multiple .NET applications. The role requires a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, and deployment using modern technologies such as .NET Core/Framework, Azure DevOps, and SQL Server. This role is essential for ensuring the effective management of existing applications while exploring new technologies to improve performance and scalability.Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of .NET-based applications, including ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, and related technologies. Team Management: Oversee and mentor a team of .NET developers, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met. Maintenance & Support: Ensure the stability, performance, and security of applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues. Application Development: Architect and develop robust, scalable solutions using .NET Core/Framework, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and front-end technologies like Angular or React. Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with existing systems such as PeopleSoft, foster care, and financial systems. DevOps & Automation: Manage deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control. Code Quality: Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry security standards. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, code, processes, and key decisions. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business stakeholders, providing technical insight and ensuring alignment with business objectives.Qualifications: Experience: 8+ years of experience in .NET development, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or management role. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of .NET Core/.NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI. Expertise with front-end technologies like Angular or React. Proficiency with MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, source control, and release pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS. Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services. Familiarity with modern security practices, including identity management and two-factor authentication. Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading teams, mentoring developers, and managing project timelines. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications: Azure certifications, AWS certifications, or PMP certification is a plus.Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Agile methodologies.
